The AIDA 2* course is aimed at beginners to the sport who can already swim but do not necessarily need any Scuba experience. It is for those wanting to improve their snorkelling, aid their confidence and competence in the water and learn a brand new sport. The focus is relaxation and comfort in the water, everything else will follow. The purpose of the AIDA ** Freediver course is to familiarise freedivers with the skills, knowledge, planning, organisation, safety procedures, techniques, problems, hazards and enjoyment of breath hold freediving. Students will be introduced to the main competitive categories of freediving including Static Apnea, Dynamic Apnea and Constant Weight freediving

What will I do?
The course is run over at least three separate days of different durations. The first day is pool and theory and dry practice, days two and three are open water. On one of the open water days you will complete two open water sessions. Nowadays we know time is precious in our busy lives, because of the flexibility of the instructor when arranging these courses dates and timings can be tailored at mutually convenient times. What will I need?
The purchasing of equipment is highly recommended before the start of the course, please feel free to browse our site. Anything not owned will be provided. You just need to bring an open mind and the results will surprise you :-)
Where can I go from here?
The AIDA 3* improves on skills learnt in the AIDA 2* and covers extra training schedules and more advanced techniques. Information on request. We also have an active club which you be welcome to join and get out Freediving regularly.
