The DiveLife GoPro Silver Package takes you through from your current level of PADI Divemaster through the Assistant Instrcutor Course, The Instructor Development Course and the Master Scuba Diver Prep Course.
What do I need to start?
You will require the PADI Speciaality Instrcutor manual which will come once have applied for the Open Water Instrcutor rating
What will I do?
Now you have completed the Divemaster Course the next step is to learn to pass on your knowledge to students by becoming an Instructor. This is split into two distinct sections, the Assistant Instructor Course and the Instructor Development Course, which are usually taken relatively closely together. Both courses train you how to teach the knowledge you gained whilst completing your training through to Divemaster.
The Assistant Instructor course guides you through teaching both the theory and the confined water skills.
The Instructor Development course then leads you on to teaching in Open Water and continuing education skills allow you to teach through to Divemaster level.
Once the IDC has been completed you can then apply to PADI to take The Instructor Exam (IE) which will allow you to qualify to become a PADI Open Water Instructor.
The Double Master Scuba Diver Prep Course can be taken at any time after you have successfully completed the IDC and will stand you in good stead as you will be able to teach 10 specialities straight away.
How long will it take?
The course should take approximately 10 days for the AI and IDC sections followed by a 2 day exam with PADI.
The MSDT Prep Course will take another 4 days and can be taken anytime after the IDC has been completed
What will I need?
You will need to b a qualified APDI DiveMaster
Where can I go from here?
Once you 25 certifcations you can apply for the MSDT rating. You may then consider the PADI IDC Staff Instructor Course which will teach you how to teach Assistant Instructors

and Medical Declaration Form.
- Return the form to us in person, by email or by post. Once we receive the completed booking form we will send confimration and the materials so you can start to learn!
