iTTL conversion circuitry provides full TTL operation with Ikelite DS-series substrobes. Large exposure compensation dial on rear of housing gives �1+1/3 EV control range in TTL mode, or 7 manual settings in 1/2 EV steps
Non-Ikelite strobes can be used in manual mode only (with appropriate sync cord)
AE/AF lock button can be activated with the thumb while holding the handle. The AF "on" is controlled by push button, or an optional shaft allows it to be operated by the thumb rather than the AE/AF lock. The Metering selector surrounding the AE/AF button is not provided. "Stay depressed" control operates the White Balance, ISO and Qual functions on top left of camera body, but the Mode dial under these buttons is not provided. Focus-mode (C/S/M) selector can be changed with a little finesse.
90° flash bulkhead connector gives optimal viewfinder access and allows housing to be laid on its back with sync cable connected. Battery and memory card can be replaced without removing the camera from the internal tray (card slot cover latch control on back panel).
Lens release control allows lenses to be changed by removing the port. Includes removable tray with Quick-Grip quick-release handles and bottom wingnuts for lighting brackets and accessories.
