We designed the Stingray Gen 2 system to make it easy to learn to shoot great underwater video. Now supplied with One Touch White Balance control as standard (CX 550, 520, 505, 500 and XR series camcorders) As an optional extra upgrade to a Left menu Handle for full electronic access to the camcorder's menu commands (CX 550, 520, 505, 500 and XR series camcorders).

It has easy to use electronic controls that place the important camera functions under your thumb including White Balance and presents the images you are capturing on an easy to see high definition monitor mounted at an optimum viewing angle on the rear of the housing.

Its ergonomic design lets you focus on learning to shoot great underwater video instead of fiddling with hard to use mechanical controls.

The Stingray literally fits the entire line of Sony HD cameras, including the new ultra wide CX550 and XR550 models, and will house future Sony cameras that adhere to the current form factors.

Our price includes a Left Dummy Handle. You can Upgrade to a Smart  Left Menu Handle for an additional cost. The Menu Handle allowes complete access  and navigation of the camcorder menu.

Its all aluminum construction and glass optics allows you to take your Stingray housing to 100 meters and document the smallest shrimp to broader reef scenes.

The Stingray can  accept the latest lights from Light & Motion at any time with no modification

The Stingray Plus Gen 2 features a dual control set. Each button has duplicate functions depending on how you press them. All the functions you need can be activated through the remote handles.

Right Handle: Rec, Photo in Photo Mode, Stby, Zoom, Wide, Autofocus/Manual Focus Lock, One Touch White Balance

Optional Left Menu Handle: Photo in Rec Mode, Lights On/Off, Menu Enter, Menu Navigation and Menu Exit
