To enroll in a PADI Scuba Diver course (or Junior Scuba Diver course),you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health.
No prior experience with scuba diving is required.
The PADI Scuba Diver course consists of three main phases:
Knowledge Development ( online, independent study or in a classroom)
to understand basic principles of scuba diving
Confined Water Dives to learn basic scuba skills
Open Water Dives to use your skills and explore
You'll be asked to commit to 3 Evening Pool Sessions and 1 Weekend Day of Open Water Dives.
Your study will be largely self-study, which you may complete at home or in our classroom with additional Instructor-led theory revision session.
During your course, we will include all essential dive gear to make sure you can develop your skills to the highest possible level and ensure safety throughout. You will be required to collect your essential items of equipment prior to the open water training dives from DiveLife.

Drop in at DiveLife in Whitefield to enroll in the course, get your materials and start reading the book and watching the video. Your PADI Instructor will schedule time with you to check your progress and make sure you understand important scuba diving information.
